Book Club Starts Tonight!

We’re so excited to gather tonight for the first session of our Pre-Institute Book Club, leading up to the RFNL November Institute 2025 on Trauma-Informed Restorative Justice.

Together, we will be reading Becoming a Trauma-Informed Restorative Educator by Joe Brummer and Margaret Thorsborne, exploring how understanding trauma and restorative practice can transform our schools, communities, and systems.

We’re grateful to everyone who registered and is joining the conversation. Here’s to an evening of connection, reflection, and shared learning as we begin this journey together!

If you missed signing up for the Book Club, we encourage you to order your copy now and read at your own pace. We'll share a few insights from our discussions to keep you connected. And don't miss our November Institute, Trauma-Informed Restorative Justice for Healthier Schools, Communities, and Systems in Newfoundland & Labrador, with Joe Brummer right here in St. John's. Registration is now open!
