A CUP OF KINDNESS YET
February Kindness Resource
These new "You Filled My Cup" greeting cards invite us to notice acts of care, name their impact, and consider how relationships are strengthened through everyday moments. They offer a simple way to build connection and share appreciation within our communities.
Perfect for Valentine's season, Pink Shirt Day, or any time you want to nurture belonging and celebrate the small actions that make classrooms, homes, and workplaces feel kinder and more connected.

Step One: Select a card
A bright, playful version of the "You Filled My Cup" card that encourages noticing kindness and relational care in everyday moments.
On the inside:
You filled my cup when...
It mattered because...
It inspired me to...
A warm, Valentine-inspired card designed to help us notice and appreciate everyday acts of care and connection.
On the inside:
You filled my cup when...
It mattered because...
It inspired me to...
Step Two: Print and fold your card
Print using the "shrink to fit" option.
Printing works well on regular paper or light cardstock.
Follow the steps in the image to fold your printed page into a simple card. The folding process is the same for both designs.

Step Three: Share your card
Use the prompts inside the card to write about a specific act of kindness you noticed and why it mattered to you. There's also space inside each card for you to write a personal note if you wish.
Optional Step 4: Share what you noticed
If you feel comfortable, you’re invited to share a short story with the RFNL team about the act of kindness or care you witnessed that prompted you to take part in this greeting card activity in the first place. These reflections help make visible the quiet, everyday ways people support one another.
With permission, we may share a small selection of these stories on our website and social media as a way of honouring relational care in action. After the new year, each story submission will be entered into a draw for an RFNL swag pack as a small thank you for participating.
Participation is always optional.
Year-End Relational Resources
Each year, RFNL works to help our community end the year in a good way. Here you’ll find a few resources we’ve developed to support that intention, including a countdown of kind and relational actions, a K–12 classroom resource kit, and this year’s greeting card activity.
Our 2025 Greeting Card Activity
Sometimes care and kindness are quiet. They show up in small moments that can be easy to miss and are often left unnamed.
A Cup of Kindness Yet is RFNL’s annual invitation to slow down, notice acts of care, and share gratitude in simple, human ways. These cards are not about recognition or reward. They are about witnessing, naming, and honouring relationship.
This year's activity invites you to choose a card, share it with someone who filled you cup, and, if you wish, help us make everyday acts of kindness and care more visible.

A playful, kid-friendly card for sharing gratitude with children and youth. This card is available in four colours.
On the inside: Thank you for your kindness. It really makes a difference.
A simple, all-ages card for everyday moments of care.
On the inside: I noticed your care. Thank you for sharing it.
A quiet card for naming something specific you noticed and appreciated.
On the inside: Thank you.
Our 2024 Classroom Resource Kit
This free K–12 classroom resource was designed to support meaningful conversations and everyday practices of kindness, care, and connection. Rooted in holistic restorative justice, this kit offers simple, creative activities that invite students to reflect, notice, and act in ways that strengthen relationships with self, others, and community. Whether used as a seasonal focus or woven into daily classroom life, this resource supports educators in nurturing belonging through small, intentional acts of care.
Our 2023 Countdown Challenge
In 2023, RFNL offered a 31-day Cup of Kindness Yet countdown as an invitation to move toward the end of the year with intention. Each daily prompt encouraged moments of care, reflection, and connection through small, accessible actions woven into everyday life. This collection brings the full countdown together, reflecting the rhythm of the campaign and the many ways kindness can be practiced as a way of being, not just an idea.
Our 2022 Countdown Challenge
In 2022, RFNL shared these daily social media reflections during our end-of-year kindness countdown. Each image offered a small invitation to pause, notice, and engage in acts of care, connection, and reflection as the year came to a close. This gallery brings the full countdown together in one place, capturing the spirit of the campaign and the many ways kindness can be practiced, named, and noticed in everyday life.
